Hello Friends, A couple of days back we did visit a Thai restaurant for our dinner. The restaurant name is ‘Thai Passion’ located at 13376 North Highway 183 #400 Austin Texas 78750. We never heard about the restaurant before, as we have got a good deal on Groupon, we just took it and went there with minimum expectations. It was a warm welcome with nice ambiance. We did order Tom-Yum Soup, Thai Chicken Fried Rice and Thai Passion Noodles. For us, tasting Tom-Yum soup is for the first time. As we do not know the original taste and flavor of it, we felt it is kinda different, bit extra sour like a tamarind soup, but the interesting part is the mushroom slices dipped in the soup were tasty. In the mean time, we were served with main course.
We have ordered noodles for Alekhya as she is fond of eating them, but by the time the dish came to our table, she grabbed the fried rice as she was more confident on that dish by looking at the way they garnished. I did taste Noodles which are very thin in size unlike traditional Chinese noodles, I like it, for me it was very tasty but for Alekhya it was just OK. She enjoyed the dish of Fried rice and for me it was ok. Over all, we had a very satisfactory experience, as the quantity served is large, we did bring a bit back to home as well. The prices are very reasonable, food is fresh and the ambiance is very interesting and reflecting Thai culture. Here you can find Thai Passion menu. Now there is a Groupon offer is running, you will find it more reasonable. We do recommend you to visit the place once, it is worth of your bucks.
Cheers, Naresh & Alekhya
