Google is the best source of traffic to your website , and now days Google is including latest updates on particular topic on their search result page on top , so it is likely that your tweet about your business announcements and product related advertisement’s tweet may be listed on top search result for particular time.

There are some websites which follow the tweets about your topic and post on their pages , that generates back links to your page .
Also the tweets you write on twitter are saved on your page , and if you are able to get good page rank to your twitter page , it is bit easy to do that , in fact it happens automatically as tweeter it self is having page rank 9 , and other tweeter followers liking to you and your tweets going automatically to other websites generate good page rank for your tweeter page , which is too listed by search engines for particular search in Google , or yahoo , or bing.
In few  days of time I could get big number of followers and page rank of 3 to my twitter account , and I realized that it is also being shown in organic searches on search engine search results.
I do not like to tweet and spam others, but a genuine and helpful tweet of mine result in to good quantum of followers visiting to my website that gets me some kind of sale or referral.
